Beyond Pride Workshop

For Pride 2026, All Season Wellness & BIPOC Healing and Wellness Centre hosted our first collaborative event, encouraging community healing and safe spaces for BIPOC 2SLGBTQIA+ folks.

We intended to provide a compassionate and connecting space where BIPOC queer individuals could show up authentically, on their own terms.

We titled the workshop Beyond Pride: Navigating the Ebbs and Flows of Our Identities because we recognize that pride isn't actually limited to the experience of a month; it is an ongoing journey of healing, growth, and belonging in ways that are unique to each of us.

Above all else, we wanted to celebrate the power of community healing through being witnessed, understood, and reminded that we do not have to navigate these experiences alone.

With both myself (Tiffany of All Season Wellness) and Reena (founder of the BIPOC Healing & Wellness Centre) being queer women of colour, it was both our personal and professional mission to honour the intersectional identities and nuances of cultural and societal influences on the lived experiences of BIPOC queer folks.

Moreover, we hoped to empower attendees to feel seen through the power of representation.

This was the first event of its kind, but we hope to continue supporting folks like us to come as they are, wherever they are in their journey... in Pride and beyond.
